Primary Subject Networks

Primary Subject Networks for 2022/23 covering:

COMPUTING | HISTORY| MUSIC | GEOGRAPHY | RSHE

Three termly meetings per subject (one-and-a-half to two hour twilight network sessions) for local practitioners who are responsible for leading subjects in their schools at a cost of £150 for three sessions.

Sessions will cover subject progression, effective sequencing of curriculum content, effective subject planning, identifying and implementing subject specific pedagogies, how to cultivate a climate of high expectations that enable pupils’ love of the subject to flourish.

The networks will also include the role of the subject leader in monitoring and improving subject delivery and making links with relevant subject associations, their resources and support.

We are always looking for experienced Subject Leaders to join us in designing and facilitating termly Subject Leader Network sessions for primary schools in our alliance.
