From September 2025, the term early career teacher entitlement (ECTE) replaces early career framework (ECF)-based training and induction. The training programme part is funded by DfE, with intakes starting in September 2025.
Early Career Training Programme (ECTP)
EDT’s ECTP provides teachers with evidence-led knowledge and skills for immediate impact in the classroom. ECTP is based on the Initial Teacher Training and Early Career Framework (ITTECF) and designed around the science of learning.

You will be taken to the EDT website where you can select Forest Learning Alliance as your Delivery Partner. You will also need to complete registration with the DfE here
Appropriate Body registration remains with DfE Teaching School Hubs.
Delivery Partner
FLA, as the official EDT Delivery Partner is the main point of contact for schools and teachers registered on the ECTP programme, providing training events with experienced local facilitators. All materials are adapted to fit the needs of teachers and pupils in their context.
All Phases and Settings
The Forest Learning Alliance programme is designed for teachers and mentors from all phases and settings, including special schools and independent settings.
