September 2020 saw the official launch of the new Mobius Maths Hub covering all state funded schools, colleges and nurseries in Wiltshire, Swindon, West Berkshire, Reading, Bracknell Forest and Wokingham.

As well as the Teaching for Mastery programme, they are also running a range of free Open Work Groups throughout the year for Early Years, Primary, Secondary and Level 3 practitioners. Please register your interest so they can contact you as soon as the dates are released to book a place.

Early Years & Primary

They have now released the dates for our Building Firm Mathematical Foundations in Reception Work Group for schools currently developing Mastery.  This free Work Group is aimed at Reception teachers and those leading on Teaching for Mastery within the school.

They are pleased to invite you to book a place for 2 teachers from your school.  The programme will be held over 3 days (1 full day and 2 half days) and will be led by Nathan Crook, an experienced NCETM accredited independent maths consultant.

Initially all Work Groups will be held online with the hope that face to face meetings will be possible later in the academic year.

Full information and online booking can be found on the Mobius website.

Secondary & Level 3

They would like to invite you to their first free Secondary CPD event: Bar Modelling in GCSE Maths.  This is a free session run by Emma Irvine from Sandhurst School who is the Secondary Mastery Specialist Lead at the Mobius Maths Hub. The online session will be held on Thursday 19th November at 4pm.

Full information and online booking can be found on the Mobius website.
